3 Months:)

Its been a long time since i last blogged. So anyway A levels are coming in 9 days, another battle to be fought oh man. Enlisting on January 11th, just got the letter today. Dunno if it's good or bad haha. But anyway its the government so i can't change anything even if i wanted to. Okay so i think i can get A for maths:) but thats the only subject i know now haha. Ben's started teaching physics but he's only done two topics so i donno. Hope i can make something out of econs, started studying alr. Oh man i can't wait for this to be over.

Okay so enough about me, this entry was supposed to be about us, about you! i love you amanda tan:) We've been together 3 months and it just gets better with each passing day:) don't worry my A levels will be over soon and then i can spend so much time with you. Thank you for supporting me always and especially when i'm feeling down and tired after those long hours of tuition. Sorry i'm always not free now, just a few more weeks baby! All the times that we have spent together mean so much to me and i want to spend the rest of my life with you! You've made a big impression on my life baby, i love youuuuu. just a few more weeks and then 2 glorious months with you:) i just can't wait! oh and i love your present :) each time i see it i hold it and i think of you. thanks for putting in so much effort, it means alot to me. everynight i hug it to sleep:) and hearing ur beautiful voice before i sleep each night really makes me happy. Even though we may have had our differences sometimes, i'm glad that we have always been able to work things out. Round 2

5 more days and prelims continues. and i havent studied the stupid geog which i was intending to mug for the whole holidays. oh well maybe my other subjects are more important also. although i've been kinda slacking alot during the hols. better buck up or im gonna be screwed badly man. my physics is really gone case though hahaha! i havent seen a single physics question or notes this hols. actually its been like that since before hols started so whats new haha. yewliang and i are thinking of quitting physics tuition alr haha so hopefully ben takes us if not i'm megaa screwed for A levels.

been going for econs crash course which is like everyday for 5 days of the september holidays. the lecturer or teacher or whoever i dont know his status and how to address him is really not bad although he seems to have something against malaysia lol! as in his teaching is quite good and he's going through like macroeconomic topics which im not as good as compared to my micro topics. anyway he lectures well and gives all sorts of like sentences to make memorising the content much easier. welll they're like sentences and u only have to memorise the like first letter of each word. haha i'm not sure how to explain nvm.

went for club training on sunday and bowled. haha even though i dint bowl much i still felt good which is well good! haha. and cos i dint bowl so long i was pretty excited when i got to the alley i straight away started bowling no stretching nothing haha and i think i havent bowled so long my muscles were kinda cramp so after bowling my hand was like aching. but MAYBE it could be the push ups during training! haha i had to do 70 pushups cos me and weijie lost during doubles against the rest haha. i guess we're both out of touch cos we bowl soooo little now:(

got an econs book today like model essays. i wanna score for essays next week! :D haha. its not a very big book but its like almost 15 bucks haha surprising for its size. i realise i've only been studying maths and abit of econs this holiday. actually even before this. after that spent time with manda then came home. now i've gotta finish up a vjc maths paper 2 before i see Ben tomorrow. i just got it and i'm supposed to finish by tomorrow! oh man.. hope i complete before 3 then i can sleep. quite tired already haha. ok off to do vjc's maths, nite! :)

8 more days to prelims! but its like 10 days to maths paper which im really hoping to do well. actually its been the only subject that ive really studied so far with ben's tuition and all. Econs maybe i'll just do okay but i think im really screwed for physics haha. ben says he might help with mine and glenns phy after prelims so i think should be okay in the end.

Went to study with stanley just now. played pool for a short while then studied near paradise centre cos national library was kinda crowded and all the other levels from the study lounge didnt allow notes and books into them. we met at bugis first and i was super late haha.got her something for our 1 month:) im so lucky to have her!

Yesterday was the last day of interclub! haha maybe now i'll focus much much more on my studies. i skipped training today too! but it was like cos i woke up late haha. anyway we came in second overall which i think is not bad alr.bowled well for the last few weeks and im quite happy bout it.we had a chance to be champions but well too bad at least we tried.and actually we should be satisfied cos we've nvr got top 3 before:) oiling yesterday night was quite nice and my spares were really not bad

Time to Hit the Books

I have finally decided that it is time to study. haha ive started on my math topics alr.actually im doing up my stats but im planning to begin revision on my pure maths cos i think thats like my weaker side of maths.anyway just got back from my first lesson of math tuition! haha ben's quite good i understood the hypothesis chapter quite quickly.haha actually now i have everything to do well all thats left is MY hard work =D

ive bought lots of vcds from hongkong but ive yet to watch even one! haha got some cantonese shows too.they're actually quite cool i saw abit on the plane there so i bought quite a few haha. the vcds there are like super cheap and they're real too.as in not pirated ones.its like all less than 8 bucks for one there.dvds are different though, more pricey.

yesterday and today was learning festival. the talks i had were kinda crappy cos i got all the leftover courses. so i managed to get out of two 2-hour courses by helping to facilitate bowling. Impress At First Sight was quite a good course though, the lady's talk was quite interesting haha and she gave some useful pointers for everyone. haha then i helped to facilitate bowling and i got to help out clarence's friend clarence haha! his release is like natural man.auto turn and really smooth. helping out was kinda fun especially when i demo and when they're busy i can just go take the house ball and throw =) i dont get to bowl much nowadays haha. today i facilitated bowling again and went for Relac One Corner with kenneth and casper. haha it was kinda cool too cos they turned off the lights and played video with music. so naturally everyone went to sleep for the whole talk haha!

bowling team lunch is on saturday. but i cant go! haha oh well. cos im bowling with aloy the SMU challenge. hope we can do well! haha. still waiting for the skinny one to give me the details. okay gotta go!

Hong Kong

Hong Kong was great!! haha. although mine and stanley's luck in the trip was horrible but it still turned out really fun in the end :) our luck was seriously seriously bad this trip, must have been the feng shui of the room. on the first day the two most tired people(stanley and i) arrive at our room only to find that the lock is spoilt and we cannot go in. whats worst is that the lighting in our room is kinda screwed up so not all the lights can be turned on.
we arrived 2 days earlier than the official practice and the house oiling is super super nice. my messenger worked pretty well and every game was like up and also almost perfect with 279 on one of the games. really high scoring. however when the official practice came the oiling changed and i couldnt really adapt to it. as in i could bowl okay but not really score high. anyway bowling the tournament was quite a good experience and congrats to mike and bernice.
day 3 was opening ceremoney and it was quite cool.i got to lead the team in haha! so continuing with my bad luck, next few days following the first was kinda tiring everyday. the worst was wednesday when i was bowling different squads from the rest it was really boring. tuesday was singles and not all of us bowled up to standard. greglorious gan as we call him now was really sad and some of us cheered him up which was really funny.spent the whole night laughing but also backache cos i kenna taopok by him 6 times! the bowling part dint go that well but u guys seriously made the trip damn fun.on day 7 after quartet final event, all of the guys except mike kinda relaxed already cos we dint make masters. so me and stanley decided to drink abit.and then the other guys came in and one of them got drunk! it was super super funny and all of us really enjoyed it.
day 8 we went to this place called citygate where i got her something after shopping for like super long:) bought some other stuff there as well.the best part was there, me and stanley got left behind! suddenly after awhile we noticed that we dint bump into anyone in the shopping centre anymore.so we walked around the WHOLE shopping centre for like 2 rounds looking for people. in the end justin called i think and apparently everyone had left already.they freaking forgot about us! okay so we decided to go meet them and took the mrt.buying tickets was sucky also. we had no coins and the machine which accepted notes wasnt working.so we walked 3 shops to change coins and when we came back, lo and behold the stupid note machine was working.so anyway ann told us to pay concessionary so we did and headed for mongkok to meet some of them. however we reached some interchange where we had to walk like a mile to the other side to change and we were so freaking tired by that time we decided to go back to hotel. on the way we stopped at causeway bay to buy donuts and god we were scolded damn badly by the mrt person for concessionary and wrong stop.luckily we only had to pay extra.so after that we got back to hotel i dont think we did much that night anymore compared to the other nights. oh pauls aboslut got confiscated cos i left it on the table and the teacher walked in before meeting ahaha.
on the final night was opening ceremoney but not the whole team was there cos some of them had to fly back alr. was really tired out that night already cos the previous nights hardly slept much since i dint have to bowl already. dinner was quite fun with all the other countries performing. we finally decided to perform but ran out of time alr haha! had some fun meeting people from the other countries. after that headed back up where me stanley and the small michael were in my room just doing something really stupid.we were playing a game where we would open a card each and the largest one would flick the forehead of the smallest card. its seriously quite pain i had a swell next morning. so we were playing and then more people came.some more hk ppl came and ice also. then huifen ann and greglorious also came and also the teachers! they played too and it was really a sadistic game man. but as usual me and stanley were the suay ones. playing with 10 people i could get the smallest card for like 4 to 5 times straight. just keep kena-ing the whole night man and my bruise on my forehead was super pain haha but it was really damn fun. next day flew back to singapore where grandad picked me up cos mom and dad were still in hongkong taking a later flight.lots more to write but i really dont feel like trying to remember alr haha it was a week ago. really really a nice trip though :).

well enough about hongkong the week after i got back i was flooded with everything i missed and kinda trying to catch up now. but i still feel really relaxed from after hong kong hahaha better start working though. learning festival is on wednesday.i gotta attend some poetry course cos i was the last few to sign up since i wasnt around when everyone was signing up. hopefully the j1s can help me out and get me out of my courses.i dont mind helping out in the bowling clinic actually haha. i met with her in town on friday.finally asked her :) really happy now haha.interclub other day was kinda screwey haha.won 3-2 though. but really disappointed with the way i bowled. i bowl 254 252 then i bowled a 13! i was like omfg wtf am i doing haha but nvm its only interclub.my new ball still rocks though haha.i finally got a maths tuition teacher, i think bens gonna take me cos i replace yl as he goes on to join ppl with a higher standard haha. but i think i really need help now if i want to get something good out of my A's. alright time to go do homework! haha.

Drawing Nearer

both exams ending and asian schools starting drawing nearer. i just realised i have to slow down on bowling like mega alot after the hk trip. anyway just came back from tuition. maths paper 2 is tmr. i completely dint have an idea of stats at all but after ben's tuition at least i wont get 0 haha. hes gonna take me as a student after hk which is a good thing cos i need to concentrate on my studies as well.

today was the team bonding thing for combine schools. madam organised some small games at first which was quite okay to get things started. haha and im rooming with stanley in hk so might share a tote with him. after that went down to the park to play hui erh and my games. well it was more of hui erh cos she suggested everything lol. anyway played whacko where everyone came up with a characteristic of themselves. quite fun actually haha. then after that was captain's ball.only thing we dint use a ball haha. we used PAO! hahahaha and it got pretty messy once the pao split. we also used fish balls with alot of ketchup. u can imagine when it burst hahahaha. pity the hungry ppl in the world though lol. anyway after that was the smile if u love me game cos its like every year they play that. think today was not bad, hope everyone had fun.

3 more papers till the end of exams! woohoo! it kinda sucks though cos everyone's papers are like over. clara and gerald finish and nick doesnt even have bt now. pity stanley though he has paper like me tmr but has one more on friday. thats like just before we leave lol. ive totally given up on maths though. donnno why i went for the stats tuition today. cos like my paper 1 i dint even get like close to passing. so if i get full marks for stats(which will be like the miracle of miracles haha) then i can get a S grade! hahahhaa cool man.

right in the middle of bts now. haha i notice that i've been blogging more lately. well anyway i think that im in big trouble for my bts now. ahah think i failed maths and physics alr. maths was like do-able i think. if only i had studied more instead of just the day before. i could do so many questions but when i knew i was running out of time i panic and my mind went blank. sucks. but anyway i think i have a chance to pass econs. case study was alright and essay is tmr so i think i better study in awhile. gp was okay though. wrote on the sports topic again but i wrote a different stand this time then last year.

anyway drilled new ball yesterday. haha its a Lane Masters ball. from uncle kenneth's fren bringing it in like a few pieces. strange though it looks alot like my old intense inferno. quite cool haha. i have yet to test it though. will test it during training tmr. trainnings are still being spammed man. they are like so many haha but its quite fun.

i feel like playing mahjong man. havent played in so long haha.cmon exams. pass more quickly!

2 days to hell lol

2 days more and exams will start. the papers are spread out over two weeks and i donno whether its good or bad. actually cos its like a level style and also theres more time to study. but i know im already gonna fail so whats the diff. rather it one shot and get over with it haha. studied with gerald and clara yesterday and i did like 2 physics paper 3 questions the whole afternoon. we keep slacking lol( dota and tv). confirm fail liao. and i havent started on econs. donno why though im not like very worried haha.just now andy's sister was asking why u all look so stress? i was like laughing inside.must be yew liangs face la. maybe cos im more focused on asian schools..anyway after studying with clara and gerald at gerald's house, went home waited for bus at bishan which took soooo freaking long i cabbed home in the end lol. keep spending money man.

asian schools are coming too! haha in 2 weeks can go hongkong for more than a week.shiok man. haha. oh and cos of that we appeared in the papers the other day like wednesday. but it was in the stupid chinese newspaper so i couldnt really understand lol. but it was cool to see my name(in chinese characters which was even cooler) there and also the pic was nice haha. uncle paul was quite nice he went to help some of us frame up(cheap ones from daiso hahhaha but its still nice) the cutting and gave to me clara and gerald. haha wonder where i can put it in my room so messy.

theres some charity thing tmr. seletar donated money and sent me yx wj jerome to bowl the charity thing. prize money's 400 bucks but my mom said that if win i should donate my part to charity. walao man haha. i know its for a good cause but that money is useful man. after all i'll be paying for ball myself with my bdae money haha. i might drill ball tmr haha. donno if i should maybe should wait cos uncle adam's gonna get the oiling patterns later this week.but that might be too late alr. haha anyway gonna sleep then wake up tmr for the charity thing. and i gotta start econs tmr. cramming all my micro and macro topics into one day lol. hoping for a miracle lol :)

Study

had tuition with yewliang and glenn today, im getting better in physics i think. able to solve more questions now then before. and physics consultation with jun xiang in school tomorrow. trainings three times a week now so im bowling every alternate day. apart from that i better get into shape. cant throw a ball like before and i just weighed myself today. lost freaking 5 kg since i had fever during nationals. haha and i gotta so stop slacking.

champs again!

A div is over! champs again haha third year running. woohooo! Quite impressive considering we were trailing all the way then we caught up the last day. And i got many medals! hahaha damn happy. On the other hand, age group is over and i bowled like cock hahahaa but never mind i just couldn't focus and get anything going the whole tournament at all. Now i gotta start training for Asian Schools already, don't wanna go there just to make up the numbers =)

And i've started studying! Went Bishan to study other day with a friend =D Gotta start juggling both my studies and bowling cos bloody block test2 and asian schools are back to back and i dont wanna go asian schools worrying bout studies. And also for the A levels lol.

oh yea btw, thanks s24 for coming down to support during nationals! meant alot to us hehe. cant wait for the class chalet! =)

ohh and helmi's driving and his frens car rocks. haha hes a bloody bully disturb other ppl on the road lol. and he drifts at 90 round the stupid bend going from highway to shenton way. damn shiok though =D =D

Post Block Test

Block tests have been over already and i passed maths for the first time! i got a D woohoo! On the other hand my other subjects are probably screwed. Physics was a disaster where i got U along with like 18 others in my class. Econs will be coming back soon but my only chance of passing is to ace the second essay question and do well for case studies. The first essay question is screwed big time cos i dint study that topic at all not even one bit. I pity the marker cos everything on my second question is all bullshit. Anway i got back geog today also and i got a D too! So my marks are like D U U D. Cool.

Last saturday's interclub was at Warren and we were against Chinese Swimming Club. Uncle John put me as anchor from my usual first position. Anyway on the first game i missed a pin 10 in the last frame. I think i scared everyone behind to death but thankfully we got away with a 2 pin win. Second game we did well and third game was also scary cos we were trailing all the way and caught up and won in the 10 frame only. After that played mahjong with Yiquan Helmi and my brother at home till late in the morning. I got to skip training the following morning cos i have a blister the size of a one cent coin on my hand. Played Helmi's stakes where each dollar followed the double. I lost 25 bucks lol and Yiquan lost 35. I owe my brother money now and i hope he forgets haha. Lol but it was damn fun, we were disturbing each other and laughing all the way. Thats the way i prefer to play mahjong, its more about the fun than the money. My blister hurts now, I wonder how i'm gonna bowl league tomorrow. But i'll be drilling my vapour zone so i'll definitely go haha.

Gotta start studying soon. Once my trainings start, i doubt i'll be able to catch up with my work cos i'll probably be bowling everyday. Chaps has been starting studying lately and i think i'll just follow with his study plans to catch up on my previous topics. Had consultation today with Ms Choo. Did Keynesian theory cos i so gotta understand it after i practically wrote bullshit in block test.

Oh and Yiquan got what he wanted. A 9-5 army job where he can go bowl after his army lol. Good for him and now i'm in a dilemma cos i just received my medical checkup thingy to register. I donno whether i should slack through army and downgrade so i can bowl or should i be chiong in army. hmmmmmm

Most Pretty.. omg

Its been quite awhile since i last blogged but i've been busy and lazy for the past week. Anyway last week was SA bowling team's trip to KL for team bonding and all the other stuff. It was quite fun actually even though the duration was not as long as last year. We had the usual friendly against the pyramid youth there and it was quite even with us taking 3/6 of the medals to be won(1 gold and 2 silvers). Anyhow i doubled with Brandon who was also my roommate and he bowled real well to cover my ass haha. Besides that i also got a tote bag from the pro shop. The team bonding games were really good and we all had a great time after Edwin and Brandon's continuous and contagious laughter that left me and darryl with sore throats the day after the trip. Ahh and i got voted most pretty again. What the hell la! At the end of the trip, Edwin Brandon Anuuar and I came up with a poem for the team. haha it was quite funny and entertaining and it can be found at the sa bowling website.

Block test is next weekk!! ahhh! haha i'm like super screwed. I've been playing the whole week and i've hardly studied. The only thing i've done so far is vectors. Well i'm gonna sleep soon and wake up at 7 tomorrow! Then i'll mug my lazy ass off until at night. Hopefully i'll be disciplined enough. Wait, i HAVE TO be disciplined lol. At least i've already made an effort by cancelling all my plans. Its time to do or die haha. Let me recall why i'm in such a bad state now. Firstly i've been slacking throughout the term. Secondly i had 5 precious days to study and i only did 1 single math topic. I've been watching movies, played mahjong, and bowled. Wow i'm dead.

I just got home from interclub. Honestly speaking the lanes sucked haha. Their oiling machine was spoiled so my ball was breaking at about 15 ft. Crazy. So after numerous complaints, they decided to try to re-oil. This time the oiling machine worked.. But the oiling was such that the 10 boards on each side had beautiful oil while the rest of the middle was flooded. Bowled like a cow in the end haha. After the second game, we lost both first and second game, we were down 160 - 170 pins. The third game was quite cool cos we fought back and covered like 160 pins. But sad to say it was not enough. We lost by 7 pins in total and it was 4-1. Close to a 3-2 but can't do anything about it so too bad.

So worn out!

Today was interclub against Warren at Seletar's homeground and we won 5-0! =D Yay! It was really exciting in the third game where we grew slightly complacent after taking the first 2 games. After some opens on our end, they capitalised and struck like crazy man.But the best thing was we fought all the way back and won that last game too.Great team effort =).Scores were damn high man..

Im growing so weary nowadays, must be cos i've been sleeping really little over the past few days. And the worst part is, i can't remember why i stay up so late cos its definitely not for studying which i should be doing! im trying to focus on physics but its taking me forever just to complete one tutorial. I think Ms Tan's going through it on monday so hopefully i'll finish it in time. I feel i'm starting to bowl everyday already, wonder how it'll be when combine school training starts. I'll probably be dead tired everyday then and my studies will go down the drain. So i had better start preparing early if not i'll be so screwed for my A levels.

Touching on the subject of A levels, Yiquan David and the rest got their results yesterday. Many of them did not meet their expectations though and looked so disappointed. To my dear friends, i hope you guys can get into good courses in universities. All the best and i'll be praying for you to get in too. Hopefully you guys can study here in Singapore cos life will be so boring without you guys. After what i saw yesterday, i think that i should seriously hit the books as soon as possible. Seems like A's is completely different from O's so i had better get serious and be disciplined(oh god i so hope so.), and not contented and unconcerned like i always am when it it comes to studies

Physics SPA was on yesterday, i think i flunked it lol. Cos i forgot to use g=9.81 in my calculations. Haha i was so dumb cos the teacher actually pointed it out at the start of the SPA and it was right in front of my face on the bloody board. Oh well who cares, its not like its a big problem cos there's like so many other SPAs that are counted. This particular SPA was kinda difficult and everyone was complaining that they would fail. I donno, maybe its just me but i really don't care. Its like why worry over one small SPA. It just adds pressure to you when you're sitting for the physics paper next time. Whats over is over, nobody can change anything anymore so why bother. I guess thats just my way of thinking cos everyone else is so damn worried and sad after the SPA.

Oh well i have nothing better to write so i'll just end here.

My "first" Entry

Wow this is my first post on my own blog, the first two werent by me by the way. Yay Vic i found out how to log in after like soo long. Anyway, ironically enough, its right after the asian schools roll-off that i've been aiming for for so long. And i made it! 3rd after 2 days of rolloff and i'll be heading off to Hong Kong in July yay! Hopefully i can skip block test 2 hehe xp. But Yiquan says that i have to do well in block test 1 first for them to consider letting me skip which is like so impossible the way im totally not studying now. oh well just gotta see how it goes.

Congrats to those in SA bowling who won medals in the NUS open. You guys bowled well with the averages hit. Wish i was there though, it was so weird the whole of today man. People kept coming up asking why wasn't i up there. But anyway it doesn't matter that much, what matters is that you guys did the bowling team proud!

Had PE today, damn it was tough cos i skipped pe last week and i had a valid reason cos i didn't wanna have any part of my body ache during last friday and saturday. Today we had to run under timings for each round and i haven't run in weeks cos of cny and all. Well its good in a sense cos i wanna do well for napfa too. At least thursday its games again =)

Since the roll-off its been really weird. I feel as though as if a great weight has been lifted after all my trainings and all. The feeling's just like after getting my O level results last year, im supposed to be happy and all but its just like normal. Maybe it'll set in after a few days i guess. But i just can't seem to get down to my books even though block test is looming just ahead. I was thinking of starting yesterday but after the gambling session at tong's house overnight, i just couldn't bring myself to start at all(cos i slept the whole day lol). And there's so much work like GP presentation on wednesday. ohman this sucks.

On a happier note though, interclub is starting this saturday, and my club's hosting this year. Everyone prepare for a year of mee-siam and cheesy mc entertainment(sorry i just had to mention that =P). Lionel and Vic are having a chalet that night, hopefully i can go.
